ARE YOU A YOUNG ADULT?

Are you looking forward to graduating high school and becoming a liberated, legal adult?

Are you bored of all the college-prep and life-planning talks? Those long discussions about adult responsibilities such as working, paying taxes, managing finances, cooking, cleaning, blah blah blah…?

YOU JUST WANT TO DO YOUR OWN THING & GET IN THE GAME, RIGHT?

So, why not try a practice round?

The Get in the Game program offers a carefully organized series of interactive projects. They involve group challenges, role playing, fundraising, games and collaborative tasks to include school, family, friends and community. There are also some written questionnaires, journal entries and minimal reading.

The projects are distributed and managed through the online meeting spot, a.k.a. The Toolbox. However, approximately 85% of the project's tasks are to be performed OFFLINE. Your project details and our feedback, guidance and advocacy are personalized to match your individual interests, plans and dreams.

The program is divided by these 5 themes: Me & My Career, Me & Money, Me & My Space, Me & Society, and Me & Wellness. Click to see the Program Outline.

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS

That's it! It's free, it's fun and it's all about you!
Give yourself a head start toward your adult life.

WHAT MAKES 'GET IN THE GAME' UNIQUE?

• Project tasks are personalized.

• Projects are dynamic and interactive so it's not just "more schooling". It's an empowering, pro-active way to create a bridge between school and adulthood.

• It's different than school and standard academics because of the independence given to the Members - paralleled by guidance and mentorship.

• The evaluations given after each project emphasize how Members can use their thought-processes from the project and apply the same concepts to other areas of life.

WHO IS THE PROGRAM FOR?

• High Schools: Public, Charter, Private, College Prep & Alternative

• Individual Teens with Parents & Guardians

• Youth Organizations & Camps

• Young adults released from foster care

• College students & young adults living independently

• Juvenile Detentions for 17 and 18 year olds

The Get in the Game Program can be a counselor, a mentor, an encyclopedia, and a friend while you compose your life and craft your legend in this big, big world!

Learning Life Company, A Non-Profit Corporation and the Get in the Game Program are not biased toward any industry and are not guided by the goals of any other organization, program, or religious affiliation. The program does not design the grand destiny of its youth members; it is simply a tool and a friend.
